William Zhan said calmly, "Continue the meeting."
The one closest to him was his eldest cousin and the second young lad of the Zhan family, Caleb Zhan.
Caleb Zhan came over and asked in a low voice, "William, I heard what grandma told you. Did you really marry that person named Mila?"
William Zhan gave him a look.
Caleb Zhan touched his nose, sat upright, and did not ask any more questions.
But he sent his utmost sympathy to his eldest brother.
Although the son-in-law of the Zhan family didn't need to marry to consolidate their status, the eldest brother and sister-in-law were not from the same family. Just because grandma liked the girl named Mila Hai, she let the eldest brother marry. The eldest brother was so pitiful.
Caleb Zhan once again sent his utmost sympathy.
Fortunately, he wasn't the boss; otherwise, he would be the one marrying Ggrandma's savior.
Mila Hai didn't know this. After asking which floor her new home was on, she dragged her suitcase and found her new home.
After opening the door, she entered the house and found it was pretty large, more significant than her sister's home, and luxuriously decorated.
After putting down the box, Mila Hai first explored the house, which would be her home from now on.
There were two living rooms, four rooms, one kitchen, two bathrooms, and two balconies. Each space was quite ample. Mila Hai estimated that this house was at least 200 square meters.
There was tiny furniture, only a set of sofas, a coffee table, and a wine cabinet in the hall. Only two of the four rooms had beds and wardrobes, and the others were still empty.
The master room was a suite divided into a bedroom, a small dressing room, a small study room, and a bathroom and toilet. Although split into some spaces, the master room was still huge and could be compared with the hall.
This should be William Zhan's territory.
Mila Hai chose to live in another room with a bed next to the balcony, with good lighting, and separated from the master room by a room so that the couple could retain their private space.
Although she had received the certificate, Mila Hai thought that if William Zhan hadn't taken the initiative to initiate a married life, she would never have taken the initiative.
After dragging her suitcase into the room, Mila Hai turned to the kitchen.
The kitchen was clean, and there were no kitchen utensils. The balconies on both sides were also empty. Because of the ample space, even the two balconies gave a very spacious feeling. Mila Hai thought she should grow flowers and plants on the balcony and buy a swing chair. When she returned, she could put it on the patio, sit on the swing chair, read a book, and enjoy the flowers in her free time. It would be very comfortable.
It seemed that William Zhan usually didn't eat at home.
Now that she had moved in, she must start cooking, so Mila Hai began to with the kitchen and ordered a bunch of kitchen utensils online. As for growing flowers on the balcony and buying other furniture, she wanted to wait until William Zhan returned and asked him what he wanted.
After all, it was his house, and she lived in it.
After ordering kitchen utensils, Mila Hai looked at the time and knew she had to return to the store to help.
She picked up the keys and hurried downstairs with her cell phone.
When she returned to the store, it was time for students to leave school.
Her friend Judy Shen asked her with concern, "Mila, what did you do this morning?"
"My sister and brother-in-law have been quarreling every day recently because of my affairs. After thinking about it, it's better to move out!" Mila Hai said, looking at her friend and helplessly spreading her hands, "So I moved out this morning!"
Judy Shen was speechless when she thought of her friend's brother-in-law. She couldn't help but sigh, "Men always like to say, 'I'll support you.' As a married woman, you have to contribute to this family and endure all kinds of misunderstandings. It's so unfair. I think your sister still needs to find a job! We women must maintain financial independence, money, and waist at all times. The limbs can become stiff."
Just as she talked, she frowned and looked confused, "Is your sister willing to let you move out?"
"I got married."
"Oh, what? Are you married? You don't even have a boyfriend, who will you marry?" Judy Shen nodded first, then looked at her in astonishment, her voice rising slightly.
Mila Hai knew that these things couldn't be hidden from her, so she could only tell everything honestly.
Judy Shen stared at Mila Hai for a long time, then reached out and poked her on the forehead, saying, "You are really brave. You dared to get a marriage certificate the first time we met. If you really can't find a place to live, you can move here. I live at home, and there are many empty rooms in my home. If you want to find someone to marry, you can also find my cousin!"
