chapter 2 I told you earlier, I have a big appetite

Delyna really disliked Castor’s indifferent tone.
Upon hearing Castor's agreement, she beamed like a blooming flower, "Great, see you at gate number 1 of Intime City!"
After saying that, she pressed on the gas pedal and left.
Being a local citizen of Greenville, the roads were at her fingertips.
Underestimating a female driver? You're definitely paying for this meal!
"Delyna, you just left him behind like that?"
From the passenger seat, Follia voiced her concern, "It's his first time in Greenville, he's unfamiliar with the place, aren’t you afraid Aunt Jo will find out and scold you?"
"What's there to be afraid of? He's a grown man, he won’t get lost."
Delyna snorted coldly.
Though she said this, her thoughts were, "Idiot, just admit your inability and get in the car."
Not long after the two women left.
Castor vanished into thin air, leaving only a fleeting shadow.
His speed was so fast that not even the surveillance cameras could capture him.
As a Rebirth stage cultivator, moving through cities didn’t require any spiritual energy, merely physical strength was enough.
In less than two minutes, Castor appeared in the western part of Intime City, with a minute and a half spent asking for directions.
He didn’t want to use his spiritual sense to cover the entire city.
Any action that consumes spiritual energy is unrelated to me, don’t ask me to do it.
Five minutes later, at gate number 1 of Intime City, two girls rushed over, it was Delyna and Follia.
"Yay, we won!" they exclaimed, high-fiving each other.
Little did they know, Castor was already on the fifth floor of a restaurant, ordering food.
"This, this, not this, everything else, ten of each!"
"Actually, never mind, just two of each would do."
Another ten minutes passed.
"That damn guy, making me wait again!"
Delyna stomped her foot in frustration, “I've never waited this long for anyone in all of my life!”
Follia Carter suddenly thought of a problem, "Oh no, Delyna, do you think he could have gotten lost?"
Delyna slightly furrowed her brows, "I don't think so. Didn't I mention the number 1 gate of Intime City?"
Follia exclaimed in surprise, "There's also an Intime City in West Creek. He couldn't have gone there, could he?"
Delyna Hill was exasperated, "This idiot, let me try calling him."
She dialled the phone number given by her mom, and to her surprise, it went through.
"Castor, please tell me you haven't been kidnapped, why haven't you arrived yet!"
"I'm already here."
"What do you mean you're here! I've been standing at gate 1 for ages and haven't seen you at all!"
"Look up, look above."
"What?"
Delyna raised her head and looked around.
Indeed, she saw a boy on the outdoor corridor of the fifth floor, his hands in his pockets, quietly watching her.
Follia exclaimed, "Delyna, look! It's Castor, when did he go up there?"
"This guy..."
Annoyed, Delyna hung up the phone and jogged to the fifth floor, "Castor Williams! When did you get here, why didn't you say anything, you made me wait for so long, don’t you know I hate waiting for people the most!"
"I've been here for quite a while, seeing as you two were slow, I went ahead and ordered. The food should arrive just as you do."
Castor said with a light smile, "I ordered quite a lot, Ms. Hill, you're not going to back out, are you?"
"When did you find out that I am..."
Delyna paused for a moment, then scoffed, "Nonsense, how could you arrive so quickly? You must have cheated!"
Follia chimed in, "That's right, we took the shortest route, you must have called the restaurant ahead to prepare the food, then sneaked up here while we were waiting, right?"
"Ah, Castor, you seem so honest, but I didn't expect you to be so cunning!"
Castor shook his head and called the waiter over.
"Ladies, this gentleman indeed arrived fifteen minutes ago."
The waiter spoke truthfully.
"Impossible!"
Follia still didn’t believe it, "Fifteen minutes ago, he was still wandering near the north train station, he couldn’t have arrived in such a short time unless he could fly!"
The waiter was embarrassed, "I, uh..."
"Forget it, Follia, let's just let him win, it's just a meal."
Delyna didn’t want to argue further.
She knew Castor must have bribed the waiter to lie for him.
Such a man with heavy schemes!
She had planned to be friends, but now, she would not even consider it!
Entering the restaurant and seeing a table full of dishes, Delyna was utterly stunned.
Flame-grilled steak, snowflake shark fin soup, sea cucumber soup, papaya stewed with swallows' nests, steamed star grouper... she even saw a pot of Buddha's Temptation!
"What's going on, did we enter the wrong room?"
Follia's mouth was agape in shock.
The waiter gestured towards Castor, "He ordered all of this..."
"Castor! Williams!"
Delyna was furious, her face flushed with anger, "What grudge do you have against me, why are you deliberately making things difficult for me? I didn't expect you to be such a person!"
"...I did say I have a big appetite."
Castor shrugged innocently, "It's okay if you don’t want to pay, I can pay for the meal."
"No need, I, Delyna, will honour my bet!"
She pulled out a diamond-encrusted black card from her purse and told the waiter, "I’m paying for the bill!"
The waiter brought the POS machine, "Hello, miss, rounding down, that will be 5,200."
She swiped the card and settled the bill in one go.
"Please don't ever appear in front of me again, thank you!"
Delyna left these words behind and dragged Follia away.
Five thousand wasn’t a big amount for Miss Hill, but the point was, that jerk was deliberately making things difficult for her!
From elementary school to university, she was always the centre of attention, the goddess in countless boys' hearts!
Her family pampered her to the extreme, never having suffered such humiliation!
"Hey, aren’t you staying for a bite?"
Castor called out, but received no response.
It was clear that Follia was eager to try the dishes on the table, but she was dragged away by Delyna.
Left with no choice, he sat down to enjoy the meal alone.
"The taste is not bad, but there's not a hint of spiritual energy. It’s like chewing wax."
"Do I have to eat this kind of food in the future? Sigh."

"That damn Castor, stinky Castor, I never want to see you again in my life!"
Delyna cursed Castor all the way.
"Grumble~"
Follia’s stomach growled with hunger, "Delyna, why don’t we go back and eat something? At this time, every restaurant is full of people queuing, and you have paid for the meal."
"Yeah! I did pay for it, why shouldn’t I eat it?"
Delyna suddenly realized this and turned back.
Unexpectedly, she ran into a young man, his eyes bright with surprise, "Delyna, what a coincidence, you're at the mall too? It seems we are fated to meet!"
"Pollux Smith?"
Seeing the man in branded clothes with dyed yellow hair, Delyna's eyes flashed with a hint of disgust, "What are you doing here?"
Pollux Smith was her high school classmate, a notorious bully who used his family’s power to torment his peers.
He was also one of her many pursuers.
"I'm just hanging out."
Pollux concealed the eagerness in his eyes, trying to maintain a gentlemanly smile, "Delyna, have you had lunch yet?"
"There's a newly opened French restaurant, a two-star Michelin, I've reserved a table, please honour me with your company." "Follia, you may tag along too."
Pollux's gaze fell on Follia.
Her cute face and explosive figure caught his eye, stirring a fervent desire within him.
Delyna and Follia was the most famous sister duo of Greenville High.
Delyna was a renowned beauty, from childhood to adulthood, with impeccable looks and model-like long legs, making her the undisputed school beauty, the person of many boys' lonely nights.
Follia had a cute look but was frustrated with her overly well-developed figure, usually only daring to wear the loosest clothes.
Pollux Smith's life dream was to win this sister duo over.
"Disgusting!"
Seeing his strange demeanour, Delyna grabbed Follia, intending to leave.
But Follia had a mischievous idea.
"Delyna, why not let Pollux join us? With his personality, he's bound to clash with Castor, and we can sit aside and watch the fun. Wouldn't that be entertaining?"
Delyna's eyes lit up, "Right, why didn't I think of that, Follia, you're so smart."
So, she turned back to Pollux with a stiff smile:
"Pollux, how about I treat you to a meal?"
