"Damn it, such arrogance! Kill him!"
Archer pulled out a baton from his waist and charged forward with ten of his brothers.
Inside the restaurant, tables and chairs were overturned, bowls shattered, and plates smashed, creating utter chaos.
"Castor, don't be reckless, run away!"
Layla, mustering courage from who knows where, screamed desperately.
These were ten armed thugs!
How could one person possibly defeat them?
But in the next moment, she witnessed a miracle.
Castor knocked down a thug with one punch. Even when hit with a baton, he didn't seem to feel any pain.
In the blink of an eye, all ten thugs were lying on the ground, screaming in agony.
"I'm from Greenville University's Sanda Club. My name is Nox!"
"Don't let me see you on this street again. If I do, I'll beat you up every time I see you!"
After saying this, Castor kicked them out of the restaurant like trash and casually sat down to order food.
Emily and Layla were stunned.
Lily Moon Street was notorious for its poor security, and they had seen many fights before, but never someone this formidable.
A single person taking down ten others!
And it seemed effortless.
Could he be one of those martial artists mentioned online?
"Classmate, are you... are you alright? You seemed to get hit by the baton," Layla approached with concern.
"I'm fine," Castor replied.
He could have dodged, but it wasn't necessary.
Less to say a baton, even bullets couldn't penetrate his Qi.
"By the way, besides barbecue, do you also serve stir-fry?" Castor asked.
"..." Layla was somewhat speechless.
It seemed to her that he didn't care at all about the fight.
What was his background?
"Yes, we do!" Emily stepped forward, smiling, "Young man, what would you like to eat? Auntie will cook it for you!"
"I'd like to eat dragon meat," Castor blurted out.
"Ah?" Emily was taken aback.
"I mean, stir-fried beef," Castor corrected himself.
"Alright, alright, I'll cook it for you right away!" Emily turned to go to the kitchen, giving Layla several meaningful glances, seemingly hinting at something.
The thugs of Lily Moon Street ended up in the hospital again.
But they were not going to let this incident go easily.
"Archer... Brother Archer, how is that Nox so strong? His punches felt like hammers. I probably won't be able to get out of bed for three months... Ouch..."
A green-haired thug lay in the hospital bed, being examined by an orthopedic doctor.
They were all regulars here, so the doctor and nurses were used to it.
"I didn't expect that kid to be so tough!"
Archer’s face was swollen like a pig's head, his eyes burning with anger, "I think he must have trained at Shaolin Temple and might have even practiced the Golden Sheel Armour!"
"Golden Sheel Armour?"
The faces of the other thugs changed.
"Didn't you see when we hit him with the baton, he didn't even flinch? If that's not Golden Sheel Armour or Iron Body, what is it!"
Archer gritted his teeth, "No, I have to make a call to Brother Kosmos. We can't just let this go."
Saying this, he immediately called his boss.
Alan Kosmos of Lily Moon Street.
"Useless! You're all useless brats!"
Alan Kosmos cursed after hearing the whole story, "You can't even handle a student, I've raised you for nothing!"
"Brother Kosmos, it's really not our fault..."
Archer felt wronged, "That kid practiced Golden Sheel Armour and Iron Body. I hit him with a baton, and he didn't even grunt."
"Where is the kid now? I'll send Lunar and Stellan over," Alan Kosmos said gravely.
"Lunar and Stellan?"
Archer was startled, hesitantly saying, "Brother Kosmos, isn't that a bit too harsh for just a student..."
"Shut up and just tell me!"
The phone transmitted Alan Kosmos' roar and a woman's pained moans.
"Yes, yes, yes..."
Archer slightly moved the phone away, "He's at Kelly's Grill, probably hasn't left yet."
Alan Kosmos hung up.
"Brother Kosmos, is it necessary to send Lunar and Stellan for just a student?"
"They are our gang's ace fighters."
In the dimly lit hotel suite, a seductive woman's voice came from beside the bed.
"What do you know?"
Alan Kosmos, a middle-aged man in his forties, sat on the bed with his legs apart and coldly snorted.
"Lily Moon Street is a big fat piece of meat that many gangs in Greenville covet. Do you really think that kid is just a student?"
"Anyone who thinks that way will never become a boss in their lifetime!"
The woman was initially stunned, then suddenly smiled and said, "Brother Kosmos is indeed wise."
...
At Kelly's Grill.
Layla couldn't hold back anymore and asked, "How can you eat so much?"
Castor, who had just stuffed a plate of stir-fried beef noodles into his mouth, chewed and said, "Mind your own business. It's not like I'm not paying."
Layla replied, "I didn’t mean that, but eating like this, you’ll ruin your stomach."
Castor grabbed a handful of beef skewers and said, "Ever heard of competitive eaters?"
Layla nodded.
Castor said, "That has nothing to do with me."
Layla was speechless.
The plates piled higher and higher, and after eating about a hundred dollars’ worth of food, Castor finally stopped.
If he continued, he would be considered a monster.
He was about to pay via QR code when Emily quickly stopped him, "Young man, thank you for helping these past days. This meal is on me."
"No need."
Castor knew what Emily was thinking, she simply wanted him to look after them.
He was someone who extremely disliked trouble and wouldn’t have visited this place again if not for Emily’s cooking skills.
After paying, he left.
Both mother and daughter looked slightly disappointed.
Walking on the street, Castor pondered a problem.
At this rate of eating, the 3000 dollars living allowance his mother gave him would soon be gone.
Where could he get more money?
Turn stones into gold and create a mountain of gold?
Craft magical instruments and sell them at high prices?
Or find some super-rich people on the verge of death and use magic to prolong their lives?
These things seemed to require the consumption of spiritual energy...
Castor sighed, then suddenly made a sharp turn into a dark alley.
"Where is he?"
"On the left, get him!"
Two men in black coats followed closely.
Entering the alley, Castor's voice immediately rang out, "Looking for me?"
"Am I discovered!"
The two men in coats were surprised and glanced at each other.
"Nox, right? Being able to detect our tracking, you indeed are a trained fighter," one of them said.
Castor, with his hands in his pockets, said, "Get to the point. Who sent you?"
"The phrase should be ours to ask you!"
The man on the left lifted his hood, revealing a face covered in scars.
If there were gang members here, they would recognize him.
Stellan!
One of the two top enforcers under Brother Kosmos!
"Four Seas Gang, Blue Dragon Association, Tiger Gate, speak! Which side are you on?"
Stellan pulled out a dagger from his coat, the blade glinting coldly.
Castor sighed and then seriously said, "I come from Sunlit Palace."
"Sunlit Palace... Are you telling me a fantasy novel?"
"Do you believe I can kill you right now?"
Stellan threatened with the dagger.
"Lunar, don't waste your breath. Let's capture him and beat him up to see if his bones are harder or the stick is."
Lunar, Stellan's brother and also a ruthless figure, had a very robust build.
As he spoke, Lunar leaned back slightly, shooting forward like an arrow.
Swoosh—
Castor instantly saw that this man's physical condition was ten times stronger than that of ordinary thugs.
But it was still a far cry from the lowest standard of the "Entry stage."
He kicked Lunar straight in the chest.
He didn’t expect Castor to be this fast, breaking several of his ribs on the spot, causing him to spit out a mouthful of old blood.
"Brother!"
Stellan was shocked and rushed forward with his dagger, "I'll take your life!"
Castor didn't dodge. He grabbed the dagger, rolled it into a ball of iron mud in front of Stellan.
"You… You…"
"You are even worse than your brother."
Stellan had not encountered such a fearful event, shocked.
A semi-transparent thread of true energy emerged from Castor's fingertip, connecting to Lunar lying on the ground.
"What... what's happening to me!?"
Lunar got up stiffly, finding himself unable to control his body.
"Brother, what's wrong with you?"
"Lunar, get away! I can't control myself, what the hell is this?"
Like a puppet on strings, Lunar, while speaking, threw a punch, hitting Stellan and causing his nose to bleed profusely.
Pow, Bash!
The two brothers fought each other, beating each other to a pulp, even causing concussions.
Castor turned and left the alley, dialling Follia on his phone.
"Hello?"
"I want to report a fight. It's really fierce and scary..."
