chapter 4 black dragon

Seeing the several large bags of luggage piled up in the living room, Delyna completely broke down.
"Mommy, you... you're not serious, are you?"
"Living with this violent maniac, how can I sleep at night!"
Delyna sat on the sofa and cried, her two porcelain-white legs continuously beating the floor, "Weep weep weep, I don't want this, I don't..."
"Follia, please persuade Mommy, otherwise we'll both be in danger!"
The families of Hill and Carter have been friends for generations.
Follia Carter has been living with Delyna since middle school, and the two are even closer than biological sisters.
Follia said, "Aunt Jo, Delyna and I are both girls, it's not convenient to suddenly have a boy living with us."
Aunt Jo smiled slightly, "Aunt trusts Castor's character."
Follia said, "But..."
At this moment, Castor was looking at the scenery in the yard, his eyes searching for something, completely indifferent to their situation.
"Hey, say something, don't act like a mute!"
Seeing Castor's indifferent demeanour, Delyna got angry, "I don't want you living here!"
"My name is not 'hey,' it's Castor."
Castor glanced at her, "This place is nice, I want to stay here."
Delyna fell silent, and so did Follia.
Aunt Jo's face showed a smile, "This child is straightforward and says what he thinks."
"Danica, what do you think?"
Aunt Jo asked the man in a suit behind her.
The man, named Danica Lewis, is the butler of the Hill family and also the bodyguard of Mr. Hill.
He had been observing Castor for a while and nodded slightly to Aunt Jo, "Madam, as you said, this child is indeed good, mature and independent."
"Mr. Danica, even you are speaking for this violent maniac!"
Delyna hugged a pillow and started crying again.
Aunt Jo called Castor into the yard.
"Castor, Delyna has been spoiled by me since she was a child, you are the elder brother, please be patient with her."
Aunt Jo said, "This girl is not bad by nature, you'll know after spending more time with her."
"Okay, fine."
Castor agreed and took out an envelope from his pocket, which he retrieved from his luggage.
It was thick with banknotes.
Aunt Jo puzzled, "Castor, what are you doing?"
Castor seriously said, "This is the rental I’m paying, I'm not sure if it's enough, Aunt Jo, please count it."
Aunt Jo immediately got unhappy, "Are you kidding? Living at Aunt Jo's house and paying? People might think I've fallen out with your mother!"
"Put it back quickly, or Aunt Jo will be upset!"
"Oh." Castor pocketed it again, it was just a courtesy anyway.
"That's more like it."
Aunt Jo smiled again, "Castor, if you really want to help, just keep a look out for Delyna in school."
"You know, Delyna is pretty and attracts boys, your mom said you're always out climbing mountains and rock climbing, you're very physically fit..."
Castor listened, being confused.
Was Delyna pretty?
Why didn't he felt so.
She seemed just slightly better looking than the average person, nowhere near comparable to the pure or enchanting beauties of the Mini Heavenly Realm.
Being a two-thousand-year-old creature, his human emotions had become quite faint.
But he vaguely remembered, when his father's business failed and they were poor, it was Aunt Jo who sent money time and again to help them through tough times.
But most importantly, the location of this villa was a spiritual spring!
"Such little spiritual energy, this spring should have dried up long ago, but there's still a trace of spiritual vein."
"Let's stay for a while then."
After Aunt Jo left, Castor started wandering around the yard.
This detached villa, with over 400 square meters of house and an additional 500 square meters of yard, was worth no less than a hundred million.
The wealth of the Hill family was indeed astonishing.
"Bark! Bark bark bark!"
Suddenly, a series of dog barks rang out.
Castor looked in the direction of the sound.
He saw Delyna approaching him fiercely with a German Shepherd.
The dog, missing an ear, was large and imposing, enough to scare any person who was timid.
"Castor, I don't care how you fooled my mommy, but you can't live here!"
Delyna, dressed in a bunny home outfit, holding the dog leash in one hand and her hip with the other, "Leave or I'll have Black Dragon bite you."
Black Dragon, the German Shepherd, bared its teeth at Castor.
"Which room am I staying in?"
Castor asked, "If no one arranges it, I'll choose myself."
"You... who do you think you are, treating this place like your own home?"
Delyna, unable to contain her anger, released the leash and pointed at Castor, "Black Dragon, drive him out!"
Black Dragon barked and charged at Castor.
"Delyna!"
From the back door of the yard, Follia exclaimed.
The next second, Castor simply glared at Black Dragon, whose legs skidded to a halt, fleeing desperately back to its kennel.
From the kennel came a miserable howling, as if it had seen a ghost in broad daylight.
Follia: "..."
Delyna pointed at Castor, her face pale, "You... you..."
Castor crossed his arms, resting them behind his head, "What about me?"
Delyna boldly guessed, "Have you... have you killed someone? Otherwise, why would Black Dragon be scared off by you, Black Dragon has been trained with military dogs..."
Castor's mouth curved into a sunny smile, "Hmm, you're a bit smarter now."
"Ah!!!"
Delyna threw the leash and screamed as she fled back upstairs.
Castor whistled and returned to the living room.
At the end, it was Follia who arranged a room for him, located under the staircase on the second floor.
Castor didn't mind and moved in.
Lying bored on the bed, hands behind his head, staring at the ceiling, he pondered.
"Sigh, what should I do in the future?"
"The Clay Ball Palace is broken, my dantian is also broken, both my spirit and body are severely injured, such injuries are hard to heal even in the Mini Heavenly Realm."
"Fortunately, I still have over eight thousand years of lifespan, I can take my time to find a solution."
After thinking for a while, he saw only two solutions.
He could either find a celestial herb on Earth to repair the Clay Ball Palace, or find an opportunity to return to the Mini Heavenly Realm.
Thinking so, he was overcome by sleepiness.
The injury to his spirit had made him not as energetic as before.
He slept until nine in the evening.
The housekeeper had come, but Delyna intentionally did not call Castor to eat, even instructing the housekeeper to throw away his packed dinner.
She wanted to provoke Castor's violent side.
As long as he dared to raise his hand or swear, she was confident she could drive him away!
"Delyna, he's gone out."
On the second-floor balcony, Follia said, as she watched Castor's retreating figure.
"Has he got such endurance?"
Delyna, her cheeks puffed up with anger, "Then we'll lock the door tonight, and let him sleep on the streets!"
