chapter 6 embarrassing misunderstanding

"How did he walk so fast!"
Layla, with her hands on her knees and dripping with sweat, stood in front of Castor.
In just a short while, he had already reached the corner of the street.
"You... are you an athlete? You walk so fast," Layla gasped.
"There's no need to thank me for what just happened," Castor said bluntly.
"Uh..." Layla was stunned, not knowing what to say.
"Goodbye." Castor turned and walked away.
There was a time when he was a hot-blooded young man, always ready to help those in need.
But doing anything for too long can become tiresome.
Some of the people he saved became dependent on him, even taking his help for granted.
Layla returned to the store and found that Archer and his thugs were all disfigured, boarding the ambulance with limps.
"Doctor, look at my mouth, why is it always crooked?"
"Me too, I can't turn my neck."
"Brother Archer, we won't have to live with crooked mouths for the rest of our lives, will we?"
The thugs were crying in a mess.
The doctor in the emergency room had never seen such a situation before.
Six people with severe misalignment of mouths and necks, and their bones had already set in place. Such a condition could only be fixed by breaking and reshaping the bones...
And of course, this was all Castor's doing.
A little wicked pleasure in punishing evil, perhaps.
"That brat must be behind this, damn it, this isn't over!"
Archer Evans cursed, with a crooked mouth and cross-eyed.
...
At around ten o'clock, Castor, carrying several bags of groceries, leisurely returned to Rose Garden.
He fiddled with his keys a couple of times.
The door seemed to be locked from the inside?
Castor wasn't annoyed. With a flick of his right index finger, a strand of Qi shot into the lock.
"Isn't this a bit too much, Delyna?" Carter asked Delyna in the living room.
"What's too much about it? He might be a murderer, how can I live under the same roof with a murderer?"
Delyna sat on the sofa, holding a cup of milk tea.
"Hey, it's just a joke," Follia rolled her eyes.
"Ah!"
While playing games and drinking milk tea, Delyna accidentally spilled the tea on her pajamas.
"Damn, my new pajamas! Follia, can you throw this in the washing machine for me? My game is about to start."
"Then take it off."
"Hehe, Follia, you're so nice."
As the game was about to start, Delyna hurriedly took off her pajamas.
At that moment, Castor just opened the door and entered.
When their eyes met, Delyna's brain went blank.
Impossible!
The door was clearly locked from the inside, how did he get in?
"Ahhh—don't look!!"
Delyna hugged herself and screamed, turning her back.
What was worse, she threw her pajamas on Follia's head. Follia, not seeing Castor coming in, thought Delyna was talking to her.
"I didn't look!"
She exclaimed, "Castor! How did you get in?"
"I didn't see anything."
Castor coughed lightly and turned to walk into the kitchen.
Young people sure are energetic.
A moment later.
In the bedroom upstairs, Follia knelt beside the bed, apologizing.
"Delyna, I didn't mean it, please forgive me..."
"Speaking of which, wasn't the door locked? How did he get in?"
Delyna buried her face in the pillow, her cheeks burning red.
Remembering the scene just now, she wished she could die of embarrassment!
"He must have called a locksmith!"
Delyna bit her lip in humiliation, "Follia, I don't care, you have to find a way to get him out of here, otherwise we won't be safe!"
"Okay, okay, I'll think of something."
Follia quickly racked her brain, "Got it, the rent! We'll ask him for a rent of ten thousand dollars a month. He's just a student, he definitely can't afford it."
"Good idea, go and ask for it! But ten thousand a month is too little, twenty thousand... no, thirty thousand!"
Follia could only go to redeem herself.
Just as she got downstairs, she was attracted by a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen.
"Wow, it smells so good, who's cooking..."
She had eaten dinner at seven and was already hungry.
"My goodness, Castor, you can make soup too?" Follia peeked her head from the door.
"Yeah, want to join me for some?" Castor was quite fond of Follia.
"Sure!" Follia answered, instantly forgetting why she had come downstairs.
She swore she had never tasted such delicious chicken soup in her life, almost swallowing her tongue.
This was not ordinary chicken soup, but a medicinal cuisine made from seventeen types of herbs!
The chicken was a bit inferior though. If it were the Snow Feather Chicken from their cultivation world, the soup would taste heavenly.
After finishing the soup, Follia returned to her room contentedly.
Delyna stood at the door, arms crossed and glaring at her.
"Follia!"
...
Until the next day, Delyna didn't want to talk to Follia.
So much for asking for rent, she ended up drinking soup made by that brute?
She was clearly spineless!
Delyna thought, glaring at Castor in the rear-view mirror of the Rolls-Royce.
She glared for over ten minutes, from home all the way to Greenville University's gate.
"It wasn't intentional yesterday."
"Ah, shut up! Don't talk!"
Delyna covered her ears, utterly embarrassed.
The driver sweated profusely. That statement was quite loaded...
"Don't worry, we won't always live together. I promise."
Castor already had a plan in mind.
"That would be best!"
Delyna turned her head away, her cheeks flushed with anger.
Ten minutes later, the Rolls-Royce Cullinan stopped at the entrance of Greenville University, attracting a lot of attention.
Especially Delyna who got off the car.
She was dressed beautifully today, with carefully curled champagne-coloured long hair, Korean makeup enhancing her features, and wearing a short college-style skirt, attracting a hundred percent head-turn rate.
Follia, with her angelic face and devilish figure, also drew quite a bit of attention.
Castor, with his phone in hand, was reading a novel while walking and yawning occasionally.
Someone had sneaked downstairs last night to drink his chicken soup, keeping him up.
Not long after entering the university gate, five or six good-looking boys came up to chat, all of whom were rejected by Delyna and Follia.
"Wow, a goddess, Brother Liu, look over there!"
On the shaded campus path, many campus clubs were recruiting new members.
A boy with a camera around his neck stared at Delyna's legs, which were like works of art, almost drooling.
Elio Ellis was also stunned.
He was the vice president of the photography club and had taken photos of many beauties, but none as pretty as the one in front of him.
Without thinking, he walked up to her.
"Hello, beauty, are you... a freshman?"
Elio's smile was slightly sleazy.
"Do you need something?"
Delyna saw through his intentions at a glance and kept walking.
"You've got it wrong, Miss. We're from Greenville University's photography club, specializing in taking pictures of handsome guys and beautiful girls. Would you like to have a couple of shots taken?"
Elio, followed by a few club members, pursued them.
"Check out our TikTok account, it's a big account with a million followers."
Delyna's eyes flickered and she stopped.
"Indeed, pretty girls all like to take photos. Lucky I learned photography."
Elio thought to himself, taking out his phone, "Here, ladies, this is our TikTok account 'Greenville Photography'. You're so pretty, just a couple of shots and you'll be famous."
"Delyna, their skills seem quite good. Their videos have a few hundred thousand likes at least."
Follia watched a couple of videos, "Shall we take some photos too?"
Delyna nodded slightly, "Then we'd just have a few shots."
