chapter 3 Don't disturb me when I'm eating

“Pollux?”
Pollux thought he was hallucinating.
The goddess was calling him Pollux and even inviting him to dinner?
Oh no, he might indeed have a chance!
"Sure, Delyna, where shall we go?"
Suppressing his excitement, Pollux asked.
"Follow me."
Delyna gave him a beautiful smile, then rolled her eyes as she turned her face.
Pollux obediently followed behind, trying to strike up awkward conversations and secretly setting his phone to silent.
That way, the girl he had asked out, who was in the restroom, wouldn't be able to find him later.
They arrived at the restaurant where Castor had ordered food.
Two beautiful girls led Pollux in, where Castor was feasting.
Just as Pollux was about to ask if they had come to the wrong place, he heard Follia exclaim in surprise, "Oh my gosh! Castor, were you born in the year of the pig? How could you eat so much?"
Delyna also widened her eyes in astonishment.
In just a short while, half of the approximately thirty dishes on the table were gone.
Had he eaten them or thrown them away?
Castor paused his meal, "Didn't you guys already leave? Why are you back again?"
Delyna crossed her arms, "Hmph, I paid the bill, what’s wrong with me coming back to eat? It’s none of your business!"
"Wait a minute!"
At this moment, Pollux, confused, pointed at Castor, "Delyna, who is this guy?"
"Oh, his name is Castor, the son of my mom's close friend. He just arrived in Greenville from Northern-Shrine County today, and my mom asked me to entertain him a bit."
Delyna said truthfully.
As Follia expected, Pollux's face darkened instantly.
He had finally managed to have a meeting with the goddess, and this country bumpkin was here eating and drinking. What was this all about?
"Bro, have you eaten enough?"
Pollux approached, patting Castor on the shoulder, "If you’re full, it’s time to leave. Delyna and I have important things to discuss."
Castor was focused on a plate of stir-fried beef kidneys.
"Hey, bro?"
Castor grabbed a lemon chicken, first tearing off the drumstick.
"Bro, how about this, I’ll give you two thousand bucks, go eat somewhere else."
After sipping some lotus soup, Castor commented, "The salt added isn’t enough."
Pollux, "......"
"Didn’t you hear me?!"
Pollux knocked the half-eaten lemon chicken out of Castor' hand.
That temper of his!
I'm talking to you, can't you hear? Forcing me to lose my temper.
"Haha, Delyna, the show is starting."
Follia chuckled mischievously, pulling Delyna back.
Then, Delyna saw Castor stand up, grab Pollux by the hair, and shove his face into a basin of crucian carp soup.
"Gurgle, gurgle, gurgle..."
There was a lot of soup in that basin. Pollux almost drowned in it.
"You damned thing, I'll kill you… gurgle, gurgle..."
"Let go, let go! Gurgle, gurgle..."
"I gurgle, gurgle..."
"Help... help! Gurgle, gurgle..."
No matter how much he struggled, Castor' hand, firm like a vice, kept him submerged in the soup, unable to move.
Pollux's voice grew weaker.
"Oh my, this guy is so strong!"
Follia’s mouth fell open in shock.
"Stop it, Follia, help him!"
Seeing the situation turn dire, Delyna hurriedly ran over to pull Castor away.
It was just a meal, they couldn't let it turn into a murder scene!
Delyna, with her slender arms and legs, obviously couldn't budge Castor, who didn’t intend to kill, just to teach that spoiled brat a lesson.
As a Rebirth stage cultivator, despite being heavily injured, he couldn't be bullied by a mere worldly youngster, could he?
"Remember this, don’t disturb me while I’m eating."
Castor dunked Pollux's head back into the soup, then sat back down to continue his feast.
He didn't want to eat in such a way every day.
Eating more at once and compressing it in his stomach with true energy could sustain him for many days.
Although the spiritual energy content in these worldly ingredients was frustratingly low, it was still a bit replenishing.
"Plunk!"
Pollux knelt on the ground, spewing crucian carp soup from his mouth and one nostril.
Why was it from one nostril?
Because the other was blocked by a large fish eye.
His face, studded with several fishbones, pained Pollux so much that he howled.
"You bloody Williams, hold it, don’t you dare leave!!!"
Pollux got up from the ground, his head covered in white crucian carp meat, his eyes filled with resentment.
He hadn’t been so humiliated in front of girls for many years!
Especially in front of his goddess!
You damned thing, I'll kill you today!
"Okay, go call for backup."
Castor, slurping snails, said indifferently.
"Just you wait!!!"
Pollux stormed out, slamming the door.
As soon as he left, Castor called the waiter over to pack the food.
By the time Pollux returned with a change of clothes and reinforcements, Castor and the others were long gone.
"Pollux, where are they?"
A delinquent youth, with a cigarette in mouth, stared at him blankly.
Behind him were four or five lackeys.
"Damn it, we've been fooled!"
Pollux kicked the door, shouting angrily.
"Castor, you coward, this isn't over, I won’t let you get away with this! I'll make sure you can’t get by in Greenville!!"
...
Castor didn't give a damn about Pollux.
Leaving the mall, he got into Delyna's car and headed to Greenville Rose Garden.
This was a famous affluent area in Greenville.
It was comfortable and quiet, with birds singing and flowers fragrant.
Castor even felt that the spiritual energy here was slightly denser than in the bustling city.
"I really don’t know why Mommy insists on bringing him home, this violent maniac!"
Delyna glanced at Castor in the rear-view mirror.
Pollux had only knocked a lemon chicken out of his hand, and he almost drowned him in crucian carp soup. Terrifying!
Such a person would definitely be an abusive husband if he ever got married!
But alas, her mother called, instructing her to bring Castor home.
Follia seemed very interested in Castor, asking many questions along the way, most of which Castor casually answered.
Soon, the car stopped in front of a detached villa.
A graceful and beautiful woman in her forties was already waiting, accompanied by an old butler in a suit and leather shoes.
"Mommy~"
Delyna got out of the car and immediately ran over, her pretty face full of grievance.
"Don’t make me do this again next time. You have no idea that this Castor is a violent maniac!"
The graceful woman shook her head, "Nonsense, Castor is a very honest and straightforward boy, sporty and bright."
Delyna stamped her foot, "Hmph, he's only honest-looking on the outside."
At this moment, Castor came over, carrying a large bag.
"Aunt Jo? It's been many years, you've become more beautiful."
Aunt Jo laughed upon hearing this, "Castor, when did you become so sweet? Ah, you should have come directly, why bring so many goods? Danica, come help me carry this."
"Yes, madam."
The old butler stepped forward, amusing Follia who was beside Castor.
"Aunt Jo, Danica, this isn't a gift. It's food that Castor packed from the restaurant."
Huh?
Packed food from the restaurant?
Aunt Jo was initially stunned, then smiled radiantly, "Good, good, at least he’s not wasting food, you're a good kid, Castor. From now on, by living here, you should get along well with Delyna, treat her like your own sister."
"He’s not good, he's a super violent maniac..."
Delyna's tattling was cut short by a sudden scream.
"Mommy, what did you just say!!?"
