Chapter 6

"For some time now, I have been planning to execute my plan, but it all seems to be in vain;n, all my effort seems to be blown away by the air." I said to myself as I tried to think of ways I could accomplish my plans. I'm losing hope, but I won't give up that easily, not after everything they have done to me and my family. And also, I have to fulfill my promise to my family. "Perhaps I could use my beauty and get closer enough to strike my plan as I know I am their favorite slav, or I should just sneak into his room and stab him." I thought to myself. I could still remember that he doesn't like slaves, so it's going to be hard. "No, no! What should I do then? I have tried everything and now......." I thought as I continued to pace around the cell. Suddenly, I heard some footsteps coming towards my cell., I quickly ran to a corner and sat on the floor and folded my legs up, and rested my face on my knees. I heard the door open, but I remained in my position when the guard walked closer. "Get up, slave." I heard the guard say. I lifted my head and gave the guard an evil glare. My patient was running out. I was so frustrated as I was not able to get my plan done. My anger was rising more and more as I ignored the guard. "I said, get u, you stupid slaveAlphaha Norman needs you in his chamber right now." I quickly stood up with a hidden excitement as I thought my dreams were about to come through, though I was not sure if my plan would work, but I was happy even if it was for the meantime. I quickly followed the man to Alpha Norman's chamber, and on reaching there, my jaw suddenly dropped as I saw him with some of his guests. "My king here is the slave girl you asked for." The man said as he bowed his head and left the king's chamber. By the look of things, I perceive they have been discussing me before I arrived. "She is a beautiful harlot, like I have heard from the town." I heard one of his guests say as he glanced at me with a smirk on his face. They all laughed at his words. "She is all yours." I heard Norman say as he did not even give me a single glimpse. They asked me to dance and I used the opportunity to get what I wished for. I danced to every tone that was being played in the chamber., I held the pole before them as I swayed my head and my arms slowly to the beat of the music. My legs moved with every sound of the music, my eyes wishing to find Norman's, but he seemed not to have noticed me. I could feel that he was enjoying the entertainment not but I couldn't see it in his face; instead, he gave a blank expression. 'Alpha Norman, I know you're enjoying the dance, but your pride will not allow you to show the excitement as I am just a slave.' I thought inwardly as I looked in his direction. He glared at me as if he might have read my thoughts. I used the opportunity to glare back at him, but he suddenly looked away as if I wasn't there at all.. I was so disappointed that I couldn't even get him to look at me properly. I tried everything possible to get His attention, but I don't think anyone can be attractive to him; he was nothing but a nincompoop. The guests were the only ones affected by my beauty and my good dancing steps. I could see them constantly gawking at my body. Now I was beginning to imagine if this was my fate. The anger that had been caged within me began to resurface as I couldn't hold my tears back, which were trying to gush down from my eyes as I danced to their satisfaction. I blinked many times to hold the tears back. "Stop! Leave." I heard Alphaa Norman say furiously, and I quickly stopped dancing. I fixed my eyes on Alpha Norman as I was being taken away from their present, but he wasn't looking at me at all. Suddenly, he looked up and gazed at me.. We glared at each other before the wall of his chamber distracted our eyes from each other. When we arrived at the door of my cell, I was pushed inside and I fell on the floor., It's almost midnight, I have just slept a little, but woke up as I couldn't continue sleeping. "I am useless, I wasn't able to use any of my plans, hmmm!!!" I held my fingers in a fist as I hit them on the wall of my cell. Suddenly, I was distracted by a wolf howling in pain that sounded like the same howls I heard last night. "I understand your pain." I muttered to myself as if I was talking to him, I sat down as I listened to it howling. I felt the wolf's pain as it howled. I couldn't control my sadness anymore, tears rolled down my face as I cried, the more it Howled the more I remember what Alpha Norman has done to me and my family, and the more tears flew through my eyes. Even though it's painful listening to it but strangely it calmed me and I started humming again as he stopped, the more I hummed to its howl, the more I felt the connection between the both of us. As I hummed, I perceived the strange wolf stopped howling, it was as if he had been calmed by my gentle humming. The next day, at midnight, I woke up waiting to hear the howling. I was restless any time I wasn't able to hear the howl, so at every midnight, ht I would wake to hear it howling as it took away my pain. Today I have been waiting for quite some time, and I was beginning to think I wouldn't hear it, but suddenly I heard the howl. I felt as if it's yearning for my hum as I do yearn for its howl. I felt the urge to calm. The wolf's aching heart as I started humming. 'Who could this wolf be that had so much pain?' I thought to myself, as I felt a connection with the wolf, I could perceive the wolf's bitterness just like mine, a drop of tear unconsciously rolled down my cheek. I wiped it with the back of my hand. In the morning, I was woken up by the noise made by the carriages that were entering the castle. I could see the guards at the gate; the carriages were coming in one by one after they were checked. They were not well kept, and they looked hungry and ppatheticlerhaps they were stranded and were seeking refuge. I peeped through the peephole as I checked if I could recognize any of them, but they were all strangers. I sat back again, sulking. "I have to escape from here…"
