Rain poured down over the land of Derek's pack. Each drop of rain made the view of the environment dark and dull, making it difficult for people outside the building to see what lay ahead of them. Water flowed down the gutter as it carried the dirt past me, who stood by the roadside waiting for my mother. The market before me was so big and crowded. I waited in an open place so it won't be difficult finding me later. I was patiently waiting when the heavy rain poured down over the village. With a heavy breeze and thunder rumbling over the sky, the weather became so dark that it was very difficult for me to see around me. I thought of running to get shelter, but I thought of my mother not being able to find me when she returned, so I stood there under the rain and waited for her. "Hello, miss, what kept you under the rain?" I heard a voice behind me.. I turned around and saw a man, average in height, wearing a large coat over his body. "I am waiting for my mother." I said as I looked at the man suspiciously. He came close to me and suddenly he seized my wrist and dragged me toward himself. "What are you doing, Mister?! I was startled by the man's sudden action. I tried to free my wrist from him. "Let go of my hand, mister." I said as I struggled more to pull my wrist out of his grip, but he was too strong. I tried more, but I couldn't get my hand free. Quickly, I bit his hand, and the man flinched in pain as he let go of me. I quickly ran towards the street close to me, my feet making a sound as they splashed through the water that flowed down the street. As I ran farther, I found many roads, and one of them had a huge tree beside it. I quickly ran behind the tree and hid myself. Suddenly, I heard large footsteps splashing the water as it walked towards the route. I could hear my heart pounding against my chest as he got nearer. When the man stopped to see where I had gone, I carefully peeked from the edge of the tree. This street led three-way fork, and from the man's perspective, I could have taken one of them. I did not care which one he picked as long as it was not the one with a tree, which I hid behind. Thankfully, the man picked a different one. I squeezed out from my hiding spot and ran back towards the market where my mother might be waiting, as the rain had reduced, though the weather was still not clear. Since I was already drenched, I let the rain pour freely on me as I walked back to the market. Suddenly, I had a bad instinct. I paused and quickly turned around to see if I was being followed, but when I saw nobody behind me, I let out a sigh of relief. As I faced forward again, I saw the man standing before me with a wicked smile planted on his face. Just in a second, his hand came right at me and grabbed me . I struggled to free myself, but the man picked me up and walked towards the forest. I screamed for help, but no one came to help. "Mother! Mother!! Mother!!!" I tried calling my mother, but not even my mum came to my rescue. "Mother......!" I woke up screaming and calling my mother from my nightmare. I sat down on the cold floor, breathing heavily with sweat all over my face. I tried to calm myself down. "Mother, I am so sorry." I whispered to myself as I remembered my promise to my mum, which I haven't been able to do anything about. "I have to escape from here." I said to myself as I tried to make up my mind. I have to find a way out of this horrible life. "If were's my fate, then I would have to change it." I said as I finally made up my mind. I stood up and slowly walked towards the iron bar and grabbed it. The bars were old and rusted to the extent that they had turned patchy, red films from the rods that looked peeled away from the many months and years that had passed by. I stepped a little closer to the door, and I could see the gate being guarded very closely by the guards. You would be thoroughly checked before you could pass through the gate. By the look of things,s itIt It would be difficult for anyone to escape through the main gate. "I will check if there's any other route out of this castle by tomorrow." I said to myself as I had strongly made up my mind to escape from here. "I would do anything possible to be out of here." I said as I left the iron bar. I sat down and rested my back on the shabby wall. Thoughts of how I could make it without being caught were echoing inside my head throughout the night. When morning arrived, a metal bar rattled the iron bars in each cell, waking up al the slaves very early. All the cells were unlocked for the slaves to continue their work. Rubbing my eyes, I stood up from my position while the door was pushed open. I walked out of the cell while I joined the queue walking outside to start the daily routine. I made use of the situation while working outside. There is one small door at the back of the cell that leads to the woods. And one behind the castle. I marked the one at the back of the cell. I searched for more doors while looking around the possible places I could pass through, but that's the only one I could see. If I had to escape from here, I would have to do it at night to avoid being caught. "What are you looking at? Get to work, you filthy slave." I heard the guard say while a whip of cane landed on my back. I turned around as I pictured the man's face. "You're dead if I get out of here." I hid my face as I smirked and whispered to myself while I bent down to work. At nightfall fall I was called as usual to perform in the castle. After that, I purposely seduced a young werewolf who had been gawking at me. He took me to his chamber while I planned my way out of the castle. I took the initiative to romance him as he lay on the bed. I got on top of him while romancing him as he was carried away. I took advantage of the situation. I looked around to find anything I could use as a weapon, then I saw a metal jug on the table just the length of my arm. I grabbed it and hit it hard on his head, and quickly jumped out of his body and ran towards the door. Just when I was about to turn the doorknob, I was grabbed by my wrist and pulled back. As I looked, I saw the man was still healthy; the action did not affect him as he was still standing strong. He grabbed me by my neck and threw me to the wall. I hit my back on the wall, making me flinch in pain. He walked slowly towards me, and I quickly stood up and slowly moved back as he came closer. His steps echoed with my heartbeat that paused heavily out of fear. But I would not be shaking as I have made up my mind to escape tonight. So I quickly looked around for any weapon, my eyes made contact with a rod that lay close to me, and I quickly picked it up just when he was already close. I hit his head multiple times, and he fell to the floor before I ran to the door. I opened the door and ran outside, watching my steps as I moved carefully. "Where do you think you're going, slave?"
