chapter 17 : Prevent divorce

In Ava An's heart, there was a feeling that she couldn't quite express. It was as if she wasn't particularly happy, but at the same time, she was somewhat happy. She looked at the first photo she had taken with Ethan Ye after becoming a couple. She looked so happy in the photo, as if she were very content.

"Let's go," Ethan Ye didn't even look at the marriage certificate handed to him by the clerk. He casually took Ava An's certificate as well and handed both to the man behind him. "Keep both of them with me."

"Why? Shouldn't you give me one?" Ava An was puzzled. After all, that was her marriage certificate.

"To prevent you from thinking about divorce," Ethan Ye gave her a very reasonable explanation.

After leaving the Civil Affairs Bureau, Ava An and Ethan Ye got into the car together. On the way, Ethan Ye opened his notebook and started working busily.

I can take a taxi home."

Ethan Ye continued typing without pause, and his voice mixed with the sound of the keyboard reached her ears. "I don't intend to live separately from my wife on the first day of marriage. I'll take you to pack your things first, and then we'll move to my place."

Ava An: "For the intimate aspects expected of newlyweds."

Emily Song queried, "You mean 'intimacy'?"

Ava An: "... How should I approach that?"

Emily Song advised, "You should discuss it with your husband; I don't have personal experience to share."

Unable to get an answer from Emily Song, Ava An put away her phone with frustration. Thinking about what they were going to do in the evening, her earlobes turned slightly red. She had grown up with very limited experience with the opposite sex, let alone any intimate activities.
