"Man, she scares me," I heard Jason say behind me, making a smirk. "Remindnot to piss her off." When Micah came back with the torture tools, I got to work. He fought; he cursed, but none of that did anything to me. Nothing was going to stand in the way of getting my answers. By the tI was done, he was both breathing and bleeding heavily. "I would talk if I were you," a deep voice sounds in the next cell. It takes a little while to tell who the voice belongs to. I chuckle because, with everything that had been going on, I had completely forgotten about him. Calvin has been in custody since the day he arrived with Piper in my pack. I know that Alec left the choice of punishment to me, but I have yet to settle on one. Hell, I haven't even thought about him at all. Before we chere, I'd tried coming up with a fitting punishment, but none of the ones I came up with were suitable. Calvin ruined my life because of selfish gains. His punishment needed to be something that would mark him for the rest of his life. "You should heed his warning." Another voice sounded behind me, but this one was familiar. I look over my shoulder at Jason. His face is twisted in a grimace as he regards the hybrid. He is studying him, or more like studying my work of art. My hands are covered in blood as I swing the knife between my fingers. I turn back to the man, my eyes assessing him. Trying to find a place on his body I can cut since he is covered in cuts and bruises. I find a spot right below his chest, where his heart should be. I smile as I walk towards him, my hands itching to dig the knife into his flesh. He watches, struggling against his chains while trying to step away from him. I continue advancing, loving the look of fear in his eyes. It feels like I am hunting him, something that I love doing. "Stay back," he yells, but that doesn't deter me. "I'll talk. Just don't cany closer." His words stopped me in my tracks. Finally. I thought I'd have to do this until he succumbed to his injuries. There are sighs of relief coming from behind me. I don't bother with them, though. My focus was on him. "You've finally cto your senses." I put down the knife. "Now, tell me your name?" He glares at me, but he answers nonetheless. "Bria,n" "And what were you doing in Alpha Alec's pack, Brian?" He takes a deep breath, but grimaces. Probably from the pain. "I was just wandering. I didn't even realize I was in pack lands, untss crossedyou." "Where did you come from?" "Probably the south. I've been wandering for so long that I'm not even sure." He is hanging limply against the chains. Apart from the pain, he looks exhausted. "Do you know what you are?" For reason, I just felt like I needed to ask this. "Yes," he replies. "A hybrid". "It's hard to cross a wandering hybri," I note, "Why aren't you with your kind?" He stays quiet, and this just tests my patience. "Answer me," I growl, letting my alpha powers leak into my voice. "I couldn't stay," he whimpers. "I saw how she dealt with those who opposed her, so I found a way to escape." I pause, alarmed by his reaction. He seemed scared. Actually, 'scared is a mild word. Ord seemed terrified. But why would he escape just because this woman dealt with shybrids? "Who are you talking about?" Raven asks, coming to stand next to me. "We don't know her name, only her close circle does," he replies. "We simply refer to her as her majesty." Well, that's interesting given we have no royalties in werewolf society. We have a council, and right below them are the Alphas. "Is she the one who turned you?" I continued, all the while wondering who she was. "Yes. She's the one who turned all of us. She's rowerful." I roll my eyes at the last bit of the sentence. Of course, she would be powerful! I wouldn't expect her to be weak, not when she can create a whole new species. The scoffs around let me know that I'm not the only one who found the last bit stupid. "Can you describe how she looks?" Alec joins in, asking the questions. Brian shakes his head. "No. She always wears a mask." Now, why would this powerful being hide her face? Why would she wear a ve mask? Thinking about it, my mind goes to the woman Calvin told us about. Didn't she also hide her face? QUMS Raven turns to me. At the same time, I turn to face her.
