*Kosta’s POV*

I hold Mila and smile down at her while Lilith gets herself ready for the day, and we leave the house and male a stop at my home so I can have a quick shower and put on some clean clothes

When I come out, I see Lilith looking at the wedding photos I hadn't had a chance to put away yet

I walk to her and take the photo out of her hand, and she looks at me.

“You looked miserable. Why didn't you stop it from happening?”

I put the photo in a draw and sigh

“I didn't want to disappoint my father, but I wanted to leave the wedding and come to you the entire day, and I wish I did because I have been lost without you, Nic.”

I look at Lilith holding our daughter and smile. It seems fitting that they are both in my space.

I get my wallet and keys, and we leave to go to the shops

The drive is quiet, and I'm beginning to wonder what Lilith thinks, but I brush it off. She promised me she going to go running away from me.

When we get there, I undo my seatbelt and turn to her

“You ready, sweetheart?”

She looks at the list and gives me a smile

“Yeah, I'm ready.”

I get out of the car and help Lilith out; then, I get Mila out of her car seat.

I hold her while Lilith pushes the cart

And gets everything we need for tonight

Both our parents have agreed to come, so I'm nervous because I know my father isn't an easy man to talk to

But I don't know what Lilith’s father thinks about the entire situation, so I'm preparing for a lecture.

I knkw how it must seem to our parents, but it wasn't like I was safe, and so was she, but we know no form of protection is one hundred per cent.

I look down at Mila in my arms and smile, knowing that Lilith chose to keep her and raise her alone.

I'm happy she chose to tell me now. I hope she will give me that chance to make things Right

I watch Lilith walk down the aisle getting all the ingredients for dinner, then she goes to the baby aisle and gets more diapers and then she begins looking at the baby formula and a breast pump

I look at her, and she smiles

“I'm not sure how long I can breastfeed, for I have to go back to work and leave Mila with my mum or get a sitter, so I would rather have the formula as a backup.”

I shrug

“You don't have to explain it to me, Nic, and we will work it out together. I said I want this, remember, so give me a chance. You are not alone anymore.”

Lilith puts everything in the cart, and then we go to the checkout; and I get my card out to pay, but Lilith pushes my car aside and shakes her head

“I am paying Kosta.”

I chuckle and shake my head

“Fine, but I'm taking you out for lunch.”

She looks at me and nods

“Deal”

We leave the supermarket and put everything in the car then I drive us to an excellent sandwich shop and buy us some lunch, and then we have a little picnic at the park

“Thank you, Kosta.”

I look at Lilith

“Don't thank me, Nic. I will do this for you every day to see. you smile”

She leans into me with Mila in her arms, and we watch the other children play and the parents running around after their children.

And I know that will be me one day with Mila.

I wrap my arms around Lilith and Mila and hug them; then, I kiss Lilith’s temple

“We should go back to you're house and start cooking.”

Lilith sighs

“Yeah, we should. I am not looking forward to this dinner; I know I will get the third degree for hiding the pregnancy.”

I help Nic to her feet and then smile

“And I will be by your side the entire time.”

She leans into me, and I wrap my arms around her, and we stay like that until Lilith is ready to go to the car

When we have Mila in her car seat, I help Lilith into the car, and we go back to her house

I get all the shopping out, and Nic carries Mila into the house and then puts her into her bed and brings out the baby monitor. Then she begins to get dinner prepared

I go up behind her and wrap my arms around her waist and kiss Her cheek

“Do you need help?”

She shakes her head and looks over her shoulder at me

“You could make me a drink and maybe check on Mila.”

I turn the Jug on and then leave the Kitchen and look in on Mila

And smile when I see she is still sleeping soundly

I go back and make Nic’s drink; then I watch her cook. I try to help a few times, but it seems I do not need so I go into the dining room and begin to get the table set up and make sure the living areas are Tidy

I look at the boxes that Lilith has packed and frown

I can't believe she was ready to leave after telling me about Mila. I picked up the boxes and put them in her bedroom, and then went back to the kitchen

“Nic?”

“Hmmm, Kosta”

“How are we going to make this work when you are scared I'm going to leave again?”

Lilith washes her hands, then walks up to me and frowns

“Do you blame me, Kosta? We had everything planned out, and the second your father suggested you marry another woman, you followed his orders.”

She stops and sighs

“Sorry, Kosta, I shouldn't have said that, and I am trying. I am scared I will lose you again, and you won't come back.”

I stop and look at her, and I see the tears begin to fall down her face

“Nic, I am sorry I won't leave you again. Promise me you will unpack the boxes I won't leave you.”

She wipes her eyes and nods

“I will unpack the boxes, but this will take time, Kosta; what if your father doesn't like me and tells you that you have to leave me again?”

I grin

“I will tell my father that he can't make me leave you and that without me, his business would have failed.”

She giggles and then sits down at the table

“So what are we then.”

I take her hands and kiss the back of the left hand

“You are mine Nic. We are together no matter what.”

She looks at me and nods her head

“I like the sound of that.”

*Lilith’s POV*

I take my hand out of Kostas and smile. I know he won't leave me like that again but will his father accept Mila and me?

I get up and check the dinner, then I go and have a quick shower and then get dressed into something more presentable

When I come out, I see Kosta holding Mila, and I stand back and watch him try to soothe her

He turns around and sees me

“I tried Nic, but I can't settle her down. I have changed her and everything.”

I chuckle and take Mila from his arms

“She is due for a feed, babe, and you don't have the tools to feed her.”

I walk to the couch and sit down and begin to feed Mila Kosta chuckles and then sits next to me

“I understand now why you brought the formula.”

I look over at him and grin

“Yeah, my milk isn't in yet, so I figured until I have established a decent supply, I could use formula feed in between, and then you can help of a night also.”

I look down at Mila suckling and smile, then look back at Kosta, looking at me in shock.

“I'm sorry if that was too soon, Kosta. I wasn't thinking.”

He lifts my chin and kisses me, and every single butterfly in my stomach comes to life, and I fall into the kiss, then he pulls back and rests his forehead on mine

“Move in with me, Mila.”

I move away and look around the house I have called home for the past few months

“We could live here, Kosta. I own it, and it is perfect for a family, not that there is anything wrong with your house, but I don't want Mila in the city. I have gotten used to the quiet country life.”

He smiles and looks around, then nods

“I will move in here, and we can have the city house for when we have late nights at work or when we want to spend time with the city we can stay there.”

I grin and kiss him

“Thanks for understanding.”

I look down at Mila, who has fallen asleep, and I put her back in her crib. When the Doorbell Rings, I look at Kosta, who stands up and walks to the door with me.

I was shocked when I saw My parents and Kosta’s parents have arrived at our house early

We let them inside and take their coats when Kosta’s dad looks at me and smiles

“I'm sorry, Lilith of I had of known who your father was; I would never have made him get married to another”

I look at him in shock and then look at Kosta, who looks just as shocked as I do

“Dad, what does it matter who Lilith is if I love her? That is all that should matter!”
