Chapter 63

*Lilith’s POV*

When I wake up, I stretch and notice Joel isn’t in bed. I pick up my phone and look at the time; then I sit up in shock I have slept in. I get out of bed and find Joel’s shirt to put on, then I go to the Kitchen, and Joel is standing by the stove cooking pancakes, and Mila is making a mess with the pancakes Joel has placed in front of me.

Joel knows she isn’t ready for that sort of food yet, but still, he makes sure she has a taste of the food we eat....
