I wake up in the morning and stretch my sore muscles and roll over to look at Kosta. I take in his intense nose and sharp jawline on his olive skin, and a smile comes to me

I think of all the delicious things he did to my body and smile. He knows how to please a woman.

I hear Mila begin to cry, so I move to get her, but I feel Kosta’s big hand wrap around my waist

“Stay with me,” he says with his sexy morning husky voice. “I have to feed Mila,” I say as I lay back down and cuddle into him. He chuckles and kisses the nape of my neck “we need a nanny I chuckle “indeed but for now, it’s you or me that has to go” Kosta moves against me, and I feel his hard length press up against my arse. I gasp and turn to look at him “does your cock ever sleep?” I say as I reach down and take it in my hands “not when it comes to you Nic” I roll so I’m facing him and give him a kiss while I’m stroking him then I move my hand and get on top of Kosta who places his hands behind his head watching me I lean down and Kiss him then move off the bed “you should uh fix that” I say as I put his shirt on and a pair of panties and walk out of the room to Mila I hear Kosta groan “you play dirty Nic” he yells out, and I giggle.

When I get to Mila, I take her from her cot and change her nappy and clothes, then I take her to the kitchen with me and make her bottle and turn the kettle on, then I go and sit on the sofa and feed her. I look out the window at the lake and smile

Kosta comes out of the room and comes to Mila and me and kisses my temple “the kettle is on, Kosta”, I say as I look up at him, and he grins “, you hungry?” I nod and watch as he walks away. I don’t know why I was worried about this. I had built up so much insecurity in my mind that I almost let it come between us.

I look down at the ring on my finger and smile. It is beautiful. I never imagined that Kosta would pop the question, and the way he did it was perfect. I hear Kosta’s phone Ring and my phone Ring at the same time. I laugh “could you bring me my phone, babe?” I ask while I move Mila so I can burp her. I wait for my phone, but it doesn’t come, so I stand up and place Mila on my shoulder and walk to the kitchen. I look at Kosta, who looks like he has seen a ghost “ what do you fucking mean She is sitting at my doorstep?” I pause and look up at him, and he holds his arm out, and I walk to him. He pulls me into his side “ what am I supposed to do them because I don’t want her near my Fiancée or Daughter” I feel Kosta grip my hip and hold me tight against him “ Dad”, he says in a warning tone. “I didn’t want the marriage, to begin with, so you can get her off my doorstep!! Has she found Lilith’s house yet?” I jump when my phone rings again, and I reach over and answer it “hello?” I move away from Kosta “hello Lilith it’s Betty from next door I was checking to see if you where ok and out of the house dear” i look up at Kosta who has put his phone Down “we are fine but will be home at some point today” I hear a shaker breath come for the other end of the Line “No Lilith stay where you are “your house and car are on fire” I look at Kosta who takes Mila from my arms I pull the phone away from my ear and put it on speaker phone “I’m sorry can you Repeat that Mrs smith?” I say as I move close to Kosta “your house Dear is on fire and your car has been set alight also the fire department is on the way I have footage from my security camera for the police to view I think someone wants to harm you so stay where you are and don’t tell me your location dear I’m happy you are safe” I gasp and Kosta takes my phone “Mrs smith are you okay?” She sighs “they came in and roughed me up a bit it was a woman and a man I didn’t get the names I have to go the Police are here please Keep Lilith safe” Kosta hangs up the phone and pulls me in closer to him “ fuck he says and he kisses my Temple I look up at him and shake my head “who would want to hurt me” he moves away from me and begins to pace “Natalie my Ex wife she was at my city house waiting for me to get home if I had to wager a guess it has to be her” I walk to the living room and sit back down and look out the window “why would she harm me tho?” Kosta comes and sits at my feet and rests his head on my Knees “because of me, Nic,” I reach out and run my fingers through his hair “we have to call the police, Kosta, you said she was at your city house, and we need to find a place to stay” he looks around this cabin and smiles “maybe we can stay here for a while I look out at the lake and nod “no one knows where we are here, but we will have to go to the city to get the things we need for work and more clothes and things for Mila” Kosta gets his phone out of his pocket and calls Jovan “hey if I send you a list of thing can you buy them for Lilith and me?” Kosta looks out the window and nods “thanks Jovan I will send you the details where to meet me” he hangs up the phone and then rests his head on my Knees “it’s okay Nic we will get through this” I look at the lake and frown “you don’t know that Kosta but I trust you and we have to stay here until the bitch is caught”

*Kostas POV*

I stand up and walk to the Kitchen and finish making the coffee. I get my phone out and send a quick text to Jovan

Me: Lilith will need a car too. Hers was torched

Jovan: what happens, Kosta? Are you and Nic safe?”

Me: we are safe but keeping our location secret for a while,

Jovan: I will message you when I have everything

I put my phone in my pocket and carry the coffee’s to Lilith, who is on the phone

“Yes, Dad, I assure you I am safe. We are staying here for a while. Jovan is getting us some essentials for here.” Lilith nods. “I assure you I am safe ill talk to you soon.”

She hangs up her phone and smiles

“So.what are we going to do today since we are stuck here?” I look out the window. “I can think of a million things we can do, Nic, but we have to meet Jovan, and I'm not leaving you here alone, so we have to wait for his message until then I can finish what you started this morning”, I turn to look at Nic who has a smirk on her face “I didn't start shit Kosta your little friend poked me and begged for attention” I spit my coffee out and laugh “you didn't just say that!” she smirks and stands up “I did just say that so what are you gonna do about it” she walks to Milas room. I'm left in shock. I turn back and look out the window, then get my phone out of my pocket and call the real estate. I think this is a sign I should buy this cabin. When Lilith comes out, she takes her coffee and walks to the Front door. I watch as she walks to the swing on the deck and sits down, and brings her knees up to her chest. I want to go and comfort her, but first, I have to make this place ours. When the Real Estate estate answers the phone, I secure this cabin and send over my banking information to make the payment.

Then I walk to Lilith, who looks lost in her thoughts. I clear my throat, and she looks up at me “will she ever leave us alone, Kosta?” I sit next to her and pull Nic into my side “when she is caught; I will have her sent back to Serbia and make sure she can't come back to the country. I'm sorry this is happening, Nic.” she leans into me and smiles “I have you with me, Kosta, we can get through this I know we will” I kiss her temple and share rest her head on my shoulder. We fall into a comfortable silence until Lilith points out to the water, “did you see that” I smile. “Yeah, I saw it,” I say as I kiss her temple. She snuggles closer to me, and I rest my chin on her head. I have a feeling it is going to get worse before it gets better. I startle when my phone rings. I answer it, and I sigh a relief when it's Jovan. “Kosta, we have got the things you need, but Nat is tailing us. What did she do?” I sigh “drive towards the police station. If I'm right, she will back away; I will have to figure out another way to stay safe.” I hang up the phone and sigh “we are going to have to leave out Bubble Nic. She has been following Jovan the bitch knew we would go to him for help” Lilith looks up at me and frowns “we will have to meet Jovan and Jana” I watch as she looks out to the water and Sighs “and as much as I hate to admit it maybe we have to move Mila” I watch as a tear falls from her eyes. She swats it away. “No, Nic, we won't get you will stay here. I will go. It's me she wants, so maybe if I go, I can defuse the situation” Nicolia looks at me and shakes her head “we go as a family, Kosta. I will not have that stuffy bitch break us apart again” she looks out to the lake then smiles. “do you think a seaplane could land on the lake?” I look at the lake and grin “there is only one way to find out, Nic. Maybe it's time I made a call. You are right. We can't let her separate us. Still, we could set a trap” I stand up and walk inside maybe we can make out bright her, but that means I have to do things, Lilith will probably never forgive me for I get my car keys and walk back outside “Nic do you trust me?” she looks at the keys in my hand and then nods “with my life why?” I will he back. You are right. We can't let her win, and I know just the thing to get her off our backs” I walk over and kiss her “if I'm not back by dinner time, call your dad. He will know what to do” I kiss her and get in the car, then call Lilith’s dad, we set the meeting place, and I drive to Jovan; Natale will regret taking this too far because I have the information the police need to get her locked up for a very long time.
