chapter 2 Start living together

Siran didn't know that Cara was outside the door.
After all, everyone was having their lunch in the cafeteria now.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have let Musa say so many disgusting things to her.
Siran was furious.
"Musa, Cara had just given birth to your second child. How dare you talk about her this way?"
"What do you think is the reason behind her not putting on her makeup or taking care of her hair?"
"Do you think she has me-time when she has to take care of the two kids, with the eldest needing her to fetch to school and to tuition daily, breastfeeding the youngest and taking care of your parents and sister?"
"With Cara's capabilities, she could have become a stylish career woman with charms if she hadn't got married to you and given birth to your children, so how dare you dislike her now?"
Siran wanted to beat Musa up so severely.
"She will bear children for any man she marries." Not only did Musa not feel guilty, but he also was confident that he was right. "It's Cara's fault for not taking care of herself and not improving herself, so how is all this my fault?"
Slap!
Siran couldn't bear it anymore and slapped Musa hard in the face.
Musa was stunned and didn't react momentarily.
Siran, who was about to burst with anger, could not calm down for a long time.
She wondered how could Musa be such a scumbag.
"Musa, even if you are not Cara's husband, I will never fall in love with an ungrateful man like you."
"No, you don't deserve to be a man at all. You are worse than an animal!"
"You'd better focus your attention on Cara. Otherwise, don't blame me for being impolite to you."
Not wanting to stay with this scumbag for a moment longer, Siran opened the door and left.
Musa, standing behind Siran, began to hold a grudge against her after Siran humiliated him.
Cara had already burst into tears in an invisible corner outside the door,
Siran still didn't see Cara when everyone returned from the cafeteria one after another.
She handed out the wedding sweets to everyone.
They were astonished.
"Siran, when did you have a boyfriend, and why did you get married so quickly? Why didn't we hear anything about your marriage?"
Siran explained, "It's not worth alarming everyone, so I said nothing. But from now on, I'm a married woman. Please don't introduce men to me anymore. My husband gets jealous easily, and when he is jealous, he resorts to hitting people. Moreover, he is a Taekwondo champion, so his attacks can be really powerful."
Her words were meant for Musa.
After handing out the wedding sweets, Siran called Cara.
"Cara, didn't you say you were coming to the company today? Why didn't I see you? I have something important to tell you."
"Oh, Hayden isn't feeling well, so I returned home earlier."
"What happened to your voice?"
"Nothing. Maybe I caught a cold last night. Siran, Hayden is crying. I need to coax him now."
Cara hurriedly ended the call.
Siran had a niggling feeling that something was not quite right with Cara, but she couldn't put her finger on it.
Even though Siran was a little worried, she had something to do, so Siran went back to work first.
She was busy until about nine o'clock in the evening, and she stopped when Aaron called.
"Are you done with work?"
Siran didn't know that the call was from Aaron, but she recognized Aaron's voice, "Mr. Shang?"
It wasn't because she had a good memory but that Aaron's low and pleasant voice was too recognizable as if it sounded like the strings of a violin.
"It's me," Aaron said, "I'm outside your company. If you are done with work, you can come out and meet me."
Siran was ready to call it a day and go home. "All right. Wait for me."
After hanging up the phone, Aaron exited a Rolls-Royce and said, "Nathan, you can return with the vehicle first."
"Noted, third master," The driver, Nathan, replied respectfully.
Aaron stated in a deep voice, "You are not allowed to call me the third master in front of my wife in the future."
"Okay, third master. But is there really no need for me to go inside with you?"
"Yes."
To save on their rental fees, Siran, Musa and Cara rented a place in an urban village in Peng City as their company.
Across the street from the urban village was the bustling commercial center.
That was the metropolitan characteristic of Peng City.
Aaron waited at No. 6, Lane 3, for a few minutes.
The cries of the vendors, the noise of people rushing by, and the bustling atmosphere of the market made him a little impatient.
And his unique aura was also incompatible with this place.
Aaron walked toward Siran when he saw her.
"How did you find me?" Siran remembered that she hadn't told him that she worked here.
Aaron did not answer but got straight to the point. "The small company I opened went bankrupt, and the bank seized my house and car. I don't have a place to stay, so can I camp at your house?"
Siran was stunned. "Wasn't everything going well in the morning?"
Aaron was calm as he lied, "Everything went awry in the afternoon."
Siran still couldn't accept Aaron's explanation.
Why didn't he tell me these things before registering for our marriage?
Aaron added, "In addition, I am temporarily short of money. Is it okay if I borrow 100,000 yuan from you?"
If he hadn't promised Mateo that he would ask Siran whether he could stay at her house using this excuse, he would not lie, let alone borrow money from a woman.
In fact, he didn't even bother to test Siran's character since they would get divorced in a year anyway.
So, Siran's character had nothing to do with him.
But Mateo insisted on making this happen as if he wanted to prove to Aaron that Siran was a fine woman.
Aaron had no choice but to comply.
He waited for Siran to reject him.
After all, Siran was an average person. She would not accept that her husband, whom she had just had a flash marriage with earlier, had gone bankrupt, and he was now causing her trouble, even wanting to borrow money from her.
Siran didn't answer immediately.
Aaron thought that it was a great thing that Siran was unresponsive.
As long as she refused him, he didn't have to live in her house.
Aaron added, "It doesn't matter. If it's inconvenient for you, I'll return and stay with my dad."
Aaron turned and took a few steps away. Siran, still pondering, quickly caught up to him. "Where are your luggage?"
Aaron stopped and asked, "So you agree to let me stay at your house?"
Siran, who had gone through some mental struggle, voiced, "Since we are married, we are a family. I can't abandon my family in times of need. You can stay at my house. It's not easy to be in your dad's shoes, so you stop bugging him."
Did she actually agree?
Aaron, who looked calm on the surface, was dumbfounded.
He was already prepared to be rejected by Siran.
Moreover, he planned to use this to prove to Mateo that the daughter-in-law he fancied was not a nice as he thought.
But the turn of events now would make Mateo feel like Aaron had underestimated Siran.
Aaron really wanted to be rejected by Siran, so he asked decisively, "Then, what about the 100,000 yuan that I want to borrow from you?"
Siran said thoughtfully, "I still need to think about this."
After all, 100,000 yuan was not a small sum.
Aaron replied, "There's no need to consider my feelings if it's too difficult for you to do that, as we have only known each other for less than ten hours."
Siran answered, "I will let you know tomorrow morning."
Thinking of something, Siran hurriedly asked, "Mr. Shang, apart from bankruptcy, are you in debt?"
They were now legally married.
She would also have to repay the money if Aaron was indeed in debt.
Siran cared about this matter very much.
Aaron noticed her anxiety.
It was too much to lie to her that he was bankrupt. Aaron didn't want to put too much pressure on Siran, so he said,
"No, I can repay the debt with my assets, but I don't have a cent left."
"That's okay." Siran breathed a sigh of relief and quickly encouraged him, "You're physically capable of finding a job. If you work hard, you can definitely rebuild your business again."
Aaron didn't say anything. He just hummed an agreement and looked at her one more time.
It seemed like there was no way to hate Siran.
Siran asked, "Where is your luggage?"
"The bank suddenly seized my house," Aaron said. "I don't have anything with me."
Siran led the way. "Let's go. I'll buy you two sets of clothes so you can wear them interchangeably and get you some daily necessities."
Musa, who had walked out of the alley long ago, could hear the last few sentences of Aaron and Siran's conversation clearly.
He really wanted to rush forward and mock Siran.
Was that the man she married?
Not only was he broke, but he even asked Siran for money.
Was Siran into this kind of man?
Maybe it was because he was rejected and humiliated, or maybe he was slapped by Siran, so Musa held a grudge.
He really wanted to embarrass Siran in front of others.
Maybe her husband, who lived off his wife after going bankrupt, was the perfect opportunity to humiliate Siran.
