Aaron fell into deep thought again.
After only three days of knowing Siran, his understanding of human nature was overturned again.
Mateo stood up, patted him on the shoulder, and repeated in a somber voice,
"Aaron, it's true that the company's interests and our family's honor is important, but I don't want you to be a robot who only lives for your career and family."
"You should give love a chance. Only by having a high-quality relationship can you feel the true warmth of this world and be happy."
For the first time, Aaron realized how much thought Mateo had put into his future and said, "Thank you, Dad!"

Siran took her electric scooter to the company.
She had just sat down when she received a WeChat message from Cara:
[Siran, Musa doesn't want me to return to work, and we had a big fight last night. Please help me tell him that I want to go back to work.
Siran picked up her phone and went to a deserted place to call Cara.
"Cara, what's going on?"
"Siran..." Cara's voice was a little hoarse, and she had obviously cried.
"Don't cry, Cara. Speak to me. What happened?"
"Musa..." Cara choked on her tears. "He said that I can do nothing but take care of children, and he told me not to go back to the company and embarrass myself. I refused and quarreled with him, while my mother-in-law also joined in, scolding and reproaching me."
"..."
"Siran, how is it possible that I don't know anything else other than taking care of my kids? I'm not an useless person."
"I know, "Siran hurriedly comforted, "You are also a college graduate. You speak Russian and English fluently. You even received a bonus of 50,000 yuan when you were still in sales, and Musa used that money to start his company."
"That's right." Cara felt wronged and distressed. "Musa said he would divorce me if I insisted on going back to work. He also said that he would take the kids with him."
Just as Siran was about to comfort Cara, the crying of a child sounded through the phone.
"Siran, Hayden peed his pants. I need to wash his butt and change his diaper. I'll call you back later."
Cara hung up before Siran answered.
Siran couldn't imagine how chaotic Cara's life was after she married and had children.
If she were Cara's husband, she would definitely show more love to Cara.
But it so happened that Cara married a bastard like Musa.
If Cara hadn't had two children, Siran would have persuaded Cara to get a divorce.
By the time Cara was done taking care of Hayden, it was already half an hour later.
Siran had been waiting for Cara's call for the past half hour.
"I'm sorry, Siran. I just gave Hayden a bath and breastfed him. He fell asleep while breastfeeding, but cried when I put him on the bed, so I can only wait for him to fall into deep sleep calling you."
"Why are you saying sorry to me? Did you say that Musa will divorce you if you insists on returning to the workforce?"
"I don't mind divorcing him but if we really go through a divorce lawsuit, the children's custody rights will not be given to me as I have no income."
"..."
"Hunter and Hayden are my life. I can't be separated from them."
Cara wanted to cry again, her voice becoming hoarse and choked up.
Siran was distressed by Cara's situation.
But she couldn't find the words to comfort Cara.
The reality was cruel.
Even if Cara wanted a divorce after marrying a scumbag like Musa, she would still be tied down by her kids.
Although Siran was not a mother, she could understand Cara's circumstances.
How could any responsible mother in the world be willing to abandon her own flesh and blood?
Siran thought of her parents again.
It would be great if her mother could love her as much as Cara loved her children.
This wasn't the time for Siran to be sad over her past, so she quickly consoled Cara,
"Cara, you are right. You cannot compromise because of Musa's threats. You must go back to work and earn a living. Otherwise, if he really divorces you, without an income, you will not get the custody of your children."
"Don't panic. I'm in charge of the company's human resource and business matters. I'll make arrangements for you to come back to work. Don't worry."
Siran's words made sense to Cara.
The scumbag Musa could even make an advance on Cara's best friend.
Although Siran rejected him, an unreliable man like him would find another woman sooner or later. By then, he would abandon a housewife like Cara.
So, she must rise.
The first step to rise was to go out to work and make money, and first have the ability to financially support herself and her children.
On the same day, Siran completed the onboarding procedures for Cara.
At the same time, Musa was sitting in the office playing with his phone.
He clicked on the WeChat profile picture of a female college student. The more he looked at her, the more attractive she became to him.
Musa still couldn't forget the sensation the woman's soft body gave him when recalling the day he went out to buy tea. The woman had fallen into his embrace because she sprained her ankle while wearing high heels.
He sent a WeChat message asking: [Hey, what are you doing? A new movie is playing in the cinema now. Are you free to go watch it tonight?]
The woman didn't reply to his message even after he waited for a few minutes.
Disappointment filled Musa.
Just then, Siran opened the door and came in. Musa was so frightened that he quickly locked his phone screen.
"Why didn't you knock on the door before coming in?"
"What bad deeds did you do?" Siran questioned Musa.
Not only did Musa look panicked, but his gaze was also elusive. It was evident that he was feeling guilty.
But Musa retorted confidently, "What bad deeds? I'm going through the financial reimbursement form."
"Just in time. Sign this too then."
When Musa saw the form, his expression became stern. "You are allowing Cara to come back to work. Did she talk to you?"
Siran replied, "I told you some time ago that I need to recruit a business assistant who can speak Russian and English. Cara fits perfectly into that position."
Musa said, "She could speak fluent Russian and English while she was in college, but now she couldn't speak these languages well anymore. She is not suitable for the job."
"Cara wrote the Russian and English product details page analysis in 15 minutes."
Siran decisively threw the printed information to Musa, wanting to silence his objection.
Musa gave it a brief look.
Cara had not used Russian or English for seven years, but she was still proficient in both languages?!
Musa had underestimated that plain-old housewife.
He thought for a while and said with a dark face, "Who will take care of the two children when Cara is at work? Who will take care of my mom? My mother is weak and sick and can't do any housework. Does she want tire out my mom by leaving all the housework to her?"
Siran was bursting with anger.
She looked at Musa with amusement and anger, snorting coldly.
"Your mom will get tired from doing housework. Does that mean Cara won't be tired?"
"Let's not mention about her fatigue first. You don't consider her feelings or care about her. Instead, you complained that she is slovenly, old-fashioned, passive and can't keep up with society's pace."
"If you don't let her join the workforce, how can a housewife keep up with this society? How can she dress up every day?"
"You want her to be a free nanny to take care of your children and Mom, and you want her to be as capable and tasteful as a careerwoman. Do you think she is a superwoman?"
Musa didn't know what to retort to Siran as his expression turned gloomier.
Musa clenched his jaws, his voice becoming determined again,
"Isn't this Cara's choice? She chose this life. Besides, you don't have the right to meddle in our affairs. If I don't want her to work, she can't come out and work."
